Hi, I’m Jalena, the photographer and editor behind Memories by Jalena Photography, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

My journey with photography began when I was fifteen, exploring local parks, Phipps Conservatory, and beautiful spots around Pittsburgh with my camera in hand. What started as a creative hobby quickly grew into a lifelong passion. I fell in love with capturing the world around me, the way light moves through leaves, the colors of each season, and the genuine emotions that make every image unique.

As I got older, I continued to refine my skills and eventually began studying photography at CCAC, where I learned the technical and creative sides of professional photography. That experience deepened my love for both capturing and enhancing images, transforming everyday moments into something truly timeless.

I specialize in portrait, lifestyle, and branding photography throughout the Pittsburgh area. Whether it’s a family session in South Park, a personal branding shoot for a local business, or professional photo editing and retouching services, my goal is always the same to help you preserve memories that feel real, warm, and full of life.
